Sacramento hip-hop band Death Grips drop a music video for track "Double Helix", a track off of their second effort The Money Store. For those who aren't familiar with Death Grips, the group consist of rapper MC Ride (Stefan Burnett), drummer Zach Hill & producer Andy Morin.  The Money Store for me was definitely worth the purchase once it was released. If you're interested in more music from Death Grips, check out an brief intro I provided after the jump.

From the first look of things, Death Grips may give off an aggressive & violent appearance & sound. This may be true, however underneath all of the shouting of MC Ride there's a lot of great content within Death Grips's songs. I think one of the best ways to experience Death Grips is to read along with lyrics, which are provided here.

Death Grips's first release was their free mixtape Exmilitary in 2011.  The only way that I can described Exmiltary is that it's more untamed than their latest release The Money Store. You can download it here.

I like to describe The Money Store (released on April 24th of this year) by Death Grips as a polished album. The band has  honed their musical abilities on this LP. While still having the same level of aggression as on Exmilitary, The Money Store takes production & lyrics to the next level. You can purchase The Money Store here.

Death Grips's next release No Love is scheduled to be released later on this year, view more music videos from the band here.
